ATLHAX - Fri Dec 11th @ 7pm through Sunday @ 6pm
ATLHAX is a "hackathon" for everyone! A hackathon is traditionally a marathon programming event where participants implement a project they wouldn't normally have time to work on. Our event expands this to non-programming projects, such as designing a website or planning a marketing strategy. At the end of the weekend, we hold a show-and-tell for participants to show off what they've accomplished. It's a great chance to work on that idea you've been putting off for a while.
Atlanta Startup Weekend 3 Redux
We'll also be hosting the companies from Atlanta Startup Weekend 3. They'll be showing off what they've worked on since they started and get a chance to finish off some extra features they've wanted to work on. We're hoping to foster serious companies coming out of that event and have them join the ranks of Skribit and Twitpay.
Great American Hackathon
In case you needed a different reason to come out, we'll also be hosting the Atlanta effort for the Great American Hackathon. This is a volunteer effort to use open source to make government more open, accessible, and transparent. Create a project that helps your community or country!
