Parking

Just so no one gets a car towed, you should know where and where not to park. The one place to definitely not park is at Dougan's across the street. The owner is very attentive to their parking lot and will tow you on a moment's notice if you park there. We've tried talking with him about renting some access to the space, but he has refused to even talk with us. We'll keep trying, but for now he's got an itchy trigger finger and you shouldn't park in there at all.

So, where can you park? Most obvious is the street. We can get about 15 cars in there if it's totally empty. But it's shared with nearby businesses and homes, so it's not always guaranteed. The next best place to park is at J. Christopher's and The Local. The Local doesn't open until 5pm and J. Christopher's closes at 2pm, so they generally have pretty free lots depending on the time of day. If those lots are full or become unavailable, you can also park outside the Ford Factory Lofts behind Green's. They have tons of parking and as a bonus it's monitored by a security guard.
